creating ChessTraining.app - a website to improve your chess
I am a web developer/content producer/business guy/general all around dogs body.
I make things.
I experiment.
I fail, a lot.
Currently my big project (and I expect why you're here) is ChessTraining.app - a website to improve your chess.
As a huge fan of (and big relier on) OpenSource projects my aim isto always offer ChessTraining.app for free.
However, there are overheads to running websites like this, namely:
- Website Hosting
- Domain Registration
- Database Storage
Some of which I am happy to cover myself because I use the website myself every day.
Some I recoup through offering publicly the Puzzle API which I developed for the site (although that too has a free tier).
However, most of the costs are covered by the incredibly generous donations of it's users.

Happy to support this great website! Especially the Woodpecker feature is great! Would love to see some more functions, e.g. the ability to upload own tactics sets (e.g. tactics from own games, tactic books etc.) Keep up the good work!
