I am an independent filmmaker based in Austin, Texas, working across writing, directing, and editing. My work includes When You Left Me On That Boulevard (Short Film Grand Jury Prize, 2023 Sundance Film Festival) and An Ongoing List of Things Found in the Library Book Drop... (World Premiere, 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival). I am currently developing my first feature film, On Earth as it is in Heaven, with Sleepover, while I work full-time as a video department manager and producer at the University of Texas at Austin.

I often get meeting requests for general advice and brain-picking, and I'm genuinely grateful people value my experience and perspective. I don't believe in gatekeeping what I've learned. But that knowledge was paid for — by years of labor, physical and emotional, paid and unpaid; by self-financing; and by a lot of trial and error. Sitting down for a Q&A is something I'd normally receive honoraria or goods for, and it takes real time and energy that I can't always give away for free.

To be clear: I'm not requiring payment to talk with you, and I'll still take these meetings based on my own bandwidth and interest.
