Gardening runs in my blood. Both sides of my family have been gardening for generations.
Even though I've always leaned towards putting my fingers in dirt, in 2016 I began formally learning about plants. In the years since, I've gained qualifications in horticulture, organic horticulture, NZ native plants, small farming and landscaping.
I use these skills in both my own garden, and the old heritage gardens I'm lucky enough to be employed to maintain. And I write a regular gardening and lifestyle blog at kats-garden.nz.
