Hi, I’m Katie — an artist, mom, and full-time caregiver to two medically complex kids.
Our life looks a little different than most, and over the years our home has filled with medical supplies, equipment, and pieces of a reality we never expected.
Instead of letting those things become reminders of what’s hard, I started turning them into art.
Many of my builds, props, and sculptures are made from recycled materials from our everyday life, as a way to take something heavy and create something colorful, strange, and meaningful out of it.
