The short version: I like to touch rocks and look at birds around the world, and then write about it.
The long version:
I'm currently taking a career break, leaving a 15 year career in science to explore myself as a person rather than a scientist and decide what my next steps are, which I'll be documenting on my blog. A huge part of that is climbing and simply being outdoors. There is a freedom in climbing unlike anything else I've ever experienced and the goal of my writing is to bring you along with me. I want you to feel like you're there with me, on a belay ledge halfway up a mountain, down on a sea cliff watching the birds skim over the waves or even flowing up the crag, the feel of the rock under your fingers. If I've managed that, then please, let me know.
Or maybe I took some photos of you at a crag and you like them enough to show some support. Either way, thank you so much, you are hugely appreciated!
