I got tired of expense apps that want my bank login, upload my data to a server, or make me type in every chai and cab ride. So I built Paisa Trail.

It reads the transaction SMS your bank already sends you and turns them into a clean, searchable ledger. Everything happens on your phone, and the ledger is encrypted there. No bank login, no ads, no tracking.

Some things it does:

💸 Builds your ledger by itself from bank SMS: spends, income, refunds, card bills and cashback.
🤝 Splits bills with friends and posts them to Splitwise at the end of every month, on autopilot.
🧾 Munshi, an AI accountant that finds what inflates your totals, tidies your categories and writes a weekly summary. Every change can be undone.
🔒 Masks before anything leaves the phone. Card numbers, account numbers, phone numbers and names are hidden before any AI sees a message.
🌍 Foreign spends at the ECB’s rate, plus budgets, subscriptions, encrypted backups and a dark mode that looks good.
