Some people keep meticulous coded notes. Some write detailed journals. My character journals always end up a dumping ground for quickly scribbled reminder notes and sketches, sometimes comical..... ok, usually comical.
So, we got into a little tiff with an elder brain last night! At one point my husband's character broke his staff of the magi (look it up, it's pretty intense) and almost did the bad guy's job for him. Eventually, the thing jumped into a construct like that one villan in Ninja Turtles and buggered off (phew) leaving us all just above dead and about to walk into about a million angry Drow. (Gulp)
