Dear #KheayeFam community,
Happy September 19th! Today marks the official opening day of Munich's world-famous Oktoberfest in Germany. 🇩🇪✨
A lot of people assume Oktoberfest takes place entirely in October, but it actually kicks off in mid-September to take advantage of warmer Bavarian weather!
Because Dachshunds (Teckels) are originally from Germany, our sweet Linddy, alongside her pups Tobby, Oreo, and Thirddy, plus Chirppy the Shih Tzu, helped us create a fun educational update over at The Barking Bureau today!
While we love sharing fun cultural history, prevention and pet safety are core parts of our advocacy work. During festive gatherings, it's crucial to remind pet owners that ethanol in beer and high-sodium party foods like pretzels can be dangerous for dogs.
Educating our community on everyday safety steps helps keep pets healthy and out of emergency rooms. Every story we publish and every cup of coffee you contribute brings us one step closer to building a permanent sanctuary for animals in need.
Thank you for being such an awesome part of this journey!
✨ Be Kind. Be You. Always.
Warmly,
Karen Kheaye 🐾📚
