So~
Here I am, continuing the piece. I won't lie, I was getting a bit tired at this point (calculating measurements from your phone screen to a sketchbook over and over does consume brainpower! but it's a natural part of the craft). Therefore, I decided to color for a few minutes, since it's a bit more relaxing, in my humble opinion. That way, I could continue the drawing whilst giving my brain a little break. The result? This cool halfway-there shot.
A funny detail is that I don't have that many colors, so I had to go to my roommate and ask her for her purples, since I didn't have the right shade for this guy. That meant I was also mixing and matching whatever I had to get as close to the original image as possible. It was hilarious to me, and it actually gave me some pretty interesting gradients! By the end, I would end up using my colors, my roommate's colors, and a couple of colored markers for like two lines and four little dots.
Now, the fantastic news is that I have the finished drawing at this moment. Wee~!
The interesting news? I finished this drawing after dark, and my room's lighting is not as flattering as our star's natural brilliance. Therefore~ I will be posting the finished piece tomorrow as soon as I can get a decent capture of it under the sunlight (although the weather was saying it may pour cats and dogs... we shall see).
Until then! I wish you all a good night and a wonderful morning with a warm breakfast and lovely weather.
