Elitom El-Amin has been leading a breatharian lifestyle for over two decades, having tracked himself living completely off water and food for two whole years in one go. I got the chance to talk to Elitom during the Pranic Festival in Romania. I share with you one such short discussion. He describes us humans as hybrid cars, being able to live by intaking prana (life-force energy) naturally, and/or by consuming that which has taken prana in (plants and animals, which can be seen as an intermediary stage most of us are at). This type of lifestyle, where you consciously choose the direct energy source, is a process in itself; a process of reconditioning and of removing energy blockages that have formed in our bodies (from not knowing how to listen to our physical requirements, stuck emotions, looping thoughts, overconsumption, and so on). A simple step in the direction of energy cultivation that Elitom offers is this: > a meditation practice one time a day > a fasting day per week Do this for a year and if something shifted for the better, take it up a notch the next year: > a meditation practice twice a day > a fasting day per week > a fasting weekend once a month You get the idea, you don't push your body into uncharted territory in one (doomed to fail) go. Instead, you make it safe and solid, you work on a foundation you can build on. All this works best with a sustained energy cultivation practice, especially on the fasting days, but better yet, as a daily habit, which is simply movement (consider Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Yoga). If you chose to expand on what we already have as innate technology, our energy body, or want to learn more about it, you can check out Elitom's work on YouTube or Instagram. He walks his talk.
