Today's blog post is going to be about how you can make money without a job, or at least without killing yourself with doing more of what you don't want to do. I know that this sounds impossible, but it is possible and there are ways that you can do it. We're going to go over some of the many different ways that you can make money without a job so that one day soon, your days may be spent doing what matters most to you!
The first thing you can do is to audit your income and expenses. I know, it's not a sexy sell at all! However, by taking a bit of time doing this you will be able to see in black and white where exactly all your money is going. Once you do this, decrease your expenses but don't go crazy. Start with a low percentage like 5% or 10%. It doesn't sound like much but when was the last time you received a 10% raise without a promotion? This is one sure fire way to get cash in hand immediately. I remember helping a client with this and we found over $200 a month of subscriptions that she wasn't even utilizing! That was nearly a $2500 bump a year in her finances.
Another thing you can do is review what you have at home and sell things off. One man's junk is another man's treasure and you have been probably holding on to items for a bit to long. If you haven't used it in a year, sell it. You can sell it easily in marketplaces like Ebay, Facebook marketplace, and Craig's List. Now, don't be greedy. You aren't using it anyway so you might as well sell it off to be a blessing to someone else. Do some quick research on what people are paying for what you have then sell it a bit below that price, no more than 10%. One of my clients made over $500 doing this.
That thing that is easy for you? Freelance it! As a life & business strategist a common theme I see with my clients is the under estimation of the gifts and talents they have. People often discount it because of the ease they have with it, so they just figure a lot of people can do it to. That my friend is the area where you can make some easy money doing what you do so naturally. Love to write? There is a hot demand for ghost writers to write blogs, emails, and e-books. Can you cook better than your friends? You can provide daily or weekly recipes. Are you a wiz in front of a computer? Create beautiful engaging posts or digital journals. Whatever comes easily to you is one money gateway you aren't taking advantage of and there is a market just waiting for you to step into the game. Platforms that are great for this is Fiverr, Upwork, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Freelancing is one sure fire way to financial freedom.
The last thing you want to do is spend even more money trying to make the money back that you lost. You already know how difficult it can be, so why not just put your energy into ways that will actually work? Try one or all of these and watch money grow faster than you ever thought it could.
