Dear fans,
I hope this message finds you well.
I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share some news with you personally.
Over the past year, I've been reflecting deeply on my journey as a recording artist. It's been a challenging time on a personal level, and I've also been grappling with the financial realities of pursuing music as a career. Despite the passion and dedication I pour into my craft, the financial strain has become increasingly difficult to sustain.
To put things into perspective, my music has been streamed over 350,000 times by more than 150,000 people, which is an incredible feat, thanks to your support. However, the revenue generated from these streams amounts to nearly $600. When considering the costs involved in producing quality music – with mixing and mastering alone typically costing at least $100 per song – it becomes clear that the financial burden outweighs the returns. Mixing mastering is only a small part of the expenses involved.
Additionally, the nature of my work, which often entails irregular hours, makes it impractical for me to form a band. I rely on a day job to make ends meet, and unfortunately, this reality leaves little room for pursuing music full-time.
While this may seem like the end of the road, I assure you it's not. While I'll take a break from releasing music for now, I'm not closing the door on my artistic journey. Instead, I'm exploring different avenues and approaches that align better with my current circumstances.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to you for standing by me throughout this journey. Your support, whether it's through streaming my music or simply sharing kind words, means the world to me.
As part of this transition, I'll take my regular website offline. However, you can still stay connected with me through https://buymeacoffee.com/julience or social media. Feel free to reach out anytime – I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and understanding. While the road ahead may be different, I'm excited to continue sharing my music with you in new and meaningful ways.
