I am delighted to share that, as of today, the repair, stabilisation, and overall conservation of the Earl of Sandwich Coronation Robe, waistcoat, and coronets has been successfully completed. This incredible work was carried out by the talented team at the Royal School of Needlework, within the historic walls of Hampton Court Palace. None of this would have been possible without your generous support and contributions. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to preserving these precious pieces of history.
Looking ahead, tomorrow marks the beginning of a new chapter in the conservation of our 18th-century tapestries at Mapperton. We are excited to welcome a highly knowledgeable expert, recommended by Blenheim, who will assess the tapestries and scope out this significant project. Stay tuned for more updates!
