JTStumpo recorded the "Closer" song with Judi Meister, a well known fiddle player, who has performed with Johnny Cash & Tommy Cash. She also played in the country band Leather & Lace. In 1987, the band was voted the New Mexico CMA Vocal & Instrumentalists of the year award.
Closer's genre is a folk song with a melancholic indie folk mood. Its provocative unique vibe yields a somber chill feeling. The lyrics reflect to the listeners every day life, routines and romance. JTStumpo was the vocalist using an acoustic electric guitar and Meister masterfully played the fiddle.
