It all started by sending some video highlights of my son's hockey game to the parents' WhatsApp group chat. Some parents often sent multiple videos, in separate clips, and it became difficult to track the progress of the game. One night, I decided to compile the highlights of a game and post as a single YouTube video with my voiceover. The final product was shorter than a game, had more context with a voiceover, but lacked the visceral excitement of being in the stands.
So, I decided to try live streaming.
