On Wednesday, September 21, I revealed my painting, Instrumental Reverberation. It was commissioned by Venture Richmond for the 2nd Street Festival this year.
Have you seen it on Facebook or Instagram yet?
To say I am honored that I was trusted to paint for this historic event celebrating the history and music of the Jackson Ward community is an understatement.
The love and response I've received so far have been incredibly uplifting, and most have not viewed it in person yet. I can't wait until the festival so you can!
The 2nd Street Festival is from Saturday, October 1, through Sunday, October 2. You can purchase one of the posters from Venture Richmond's tent at the festival, then find me over me on Artist's Row so I can sign for you. My booth will be located at 2nd Street and Clay Street.
I'll have the original painting on display and reproductions that you can purchase from me. I'll share a peek of some tote and collectible stickers in a separate post for my members here on Buy Me A Coffee.
I'm excited to see you there!
However, if you can't make it, then be sure to check out my social media for updates all weekend because I'm also working on producing limited edition fine art prints for you to enjoy this colorful take on Jackson Ward's history in your home.
After the festival, I'll showcase select paintings at The Brun Experience, a fine dining whiskey and cigar lounge located in the heart of The Historic Fan District of Richmond. Look for more details about this and other upcoming events in my upcoming newsletter.
