We’re ثلاثتنا—Carri, Khalid, and Eissa—a family of three who’ve traded the comfort of land for the adventure of life on the water. Through our newsletter, Thalathetna, we share the highs, lows, and everything in between as we navigate this incredible adventure as a family of three. The name Thalathetna means “the three of us” in Arabic—a perfect reflection of the bond we share as we navigate this journey together.

For years, we dreamed of setting sail, and now that dream is our reality. Living aboard our boat, Toujan—which means “to be crowned” in Arabic we’re learning the ropes literally and figuratively—as we embrace the ups and downs of life afloat.

This journey is teaching us what it means to live with less and experience more, to adapt to the ever-changing tides of life.
