Greetings,

My name is Joseph Atreides, and I wear many hats.  To most folk I am a teacher, blogger, and natural historian as well as animist, witch and ATR initiate.  I specialize in natural history curios, objects and artifacts, drawing on my years of experience in wildlife rescue, veterinary science, animal husbandry, geosciences and teaching.  I have been a STEM teacher for over a decade and a practicing animist for almost two decades.  I have been an ATR initiate since 2015.  My goal has always been a life of service and teaching and, to that end, I have created this page to better keep in touch and connect with my supporters.

By supporting my work and my process, you can get access to exclusive blog posts, classes, consultations, and unique and rare curios, natural history specimens and materia magica that may not be offered elsewhere.  Some of you may follow me on FaceBook or you may be familiar with my website Bones to Pick.  Our connection to the natural world is imperative for our psychological and spiritual growth as human beings, and I have dedicated my life in helping others make that connection, while still maintaining that bond myself.

As someone who is transgender and intersex, any extra income will help me access much-needed medical care, as I am poorly insured and jobs in my field are often underpaid. This income will also help me access college classes, curation materials, and other resources to ensure I am providing the best in terms of knowledge and material to my supporters.

Thank you all for your support, and for walking with me on this journey.
