I am an independent researcher based in Seoul. I do not currently have a lab, supervisor, institutional salary, grant, or reimbursement route.
In my first external academic submission cycle in 2026, my sole-authored work has been accepted across multiple international venues in STS, internet and platform research, labour and employment studies, industrial relations, digital government, political science, and critical thought.
My current active accepted-work / conversion stack includes 4S, AoIR, the ILERA Asian Regional Congress, and the Midlands Conference in Critical Thought.
Additional accepted outputs at EASST, EGOV-CeDEM-ePart / IFIP EGOV, BSA Work, Employment & Society, HCII / AI-HCI, and the IPSA Regional Conference in Wrocław are kept public as accepted-but-not-converted records. They were not converted into completed participation, proceedings, or other formal conference records because registration, participation, travel, proceedings, scheduling, or funding constraints made conversion infeasible.
I keep these distinctions public because accepted work and converted participation are not the same thing.
This page supports bridge costs: registration, proceedings conversion, online or hybrid participation decisions, necessary travel, public documentation, and basic research infrastructure needed to turn accepted work into formal academic records.
Raw acceptance emails, participant letters, payment receipts, and administrative correspondence are held privately. Redacted proof records, cost tables, and status updates are maintained through my public record and support notes.
