We all have hopes and dreams. Some we work on and some we have to let go. Mine has always been to get several degrees, with the ultimate being a doctorate. I did not want to be a medical doctor or a lawyer, but I did want to be able to put Dr. before my name. I had to let that dream go over 35 years ago, as I was a single mother of 4 kids and had to make a living. Now that they are all gone and living on their own, I can finally pursue that passion. I may not make it to the end before I leave this mortal coil, but I will be happy while I am trying to make it.
I just hope my two daughters, who have always supported and encouraged me, will do the same with whatever goals they hope to reach in life.
