More great referral groups were shut down today and out of nowhere. The groups went POOF, disappearing like they never existed. I'll be creating a featured post about it soon (once I have a better idea of just how many groups were affected and why). If you signed up through me for Amazon Associates this week or participated in recent RWN cash giveaways/drawings, you likely know I occasionaly create forms when additional information is needed from signups/entrants. I am able to do this through Jotform, a website and app that allows me to create and customize free forms on the fly. I've been using the free version which gets you up to five free forms at once (and delete them as needed so I can make more)—up to 100 submissions per month and much more.
Jotform also has paid subscriptions, but the free version is enough for me and more than enough for most people. The Amazon Associates promotion is nearing my limit for this month's submissions. Blue Group Returns, Removes 5 Referral Requirement!
I don't know much about this one other than to say it was one of "the duds" in my early July RWN article due to them running a $50 Target gift card promotion that they only honored for a couple hours before shutting it down without notice. Nevertheless, Blue Group has resurfaced in Referral World and claims to be an instant $5 signup bonus when you join and pay $5. $5 referrals as well.

Several folks in Referral World, myself included, were happy campers on 9/1 when Oooh paid out thousands of dollars to Ambassadors who had been active in their groups during August. I personally earned $190 despite not being very active as several new apps have been hitting Referral World the past few weeks). I Just Earned $110 from Amazon (Worldwide)!
Yesterday afternoon, I started promoting an Amazon Associates Opportunity that went viral in Refrral World. In less than 12 hours, I already earned $110! New, Worldwide - Amazon Associates, The Drop - $5 Referral Bonuses!
There have been a few Amazon Associates offers to hit Referral World in the past few years, but one just hit this week that has gone viral. It doesn't offer a signup bonus but is easy to refer. You'll earn referral bonuses by first opting in to text and email updates when you click here on The Drop offer. Once you do this, you'll need to enroll as an Amazon Associates member to get your own referral link. Bonuses will be reflected in your Associate account next day and are paid out to your choice of gift card ($10 minimum cashout) or physical check ($100 minimum cashout). Note that you'll need an Amazon account in order to participate. More info here. 
Cogni Shutting Down Banking Services This Month!
Cogni, a digital banking app, emailed members the other day to let us know that they'll be shutting down their banking services on Friday, 9/20. If you have funds in your Cogni account, you'll need to withdraw your funds. And if you set up direct deposit, bill pay, etc., you'll want to change those accordingly. Be sure the address associated with your Cogni account is up to date; any funds left in the account after 9/20 will be mailed to the addresses on file.
No reason was given in the email other than to say, "After consideration, we have decided to pause banking services, offered through our banking partner and will consequently be offboarding all Cogni accounts" and also, "This decision allows us to focus on Web3 services as we continue to innovate." Cogni briefly went viral with their instant $5 referral bonus promotion at the end of May (the promotion only lasted a few days before they ended it).

Another "NEW NEW NEW" promotion just went viral in Referral World from Action Network. For this one, you must live in the US and have Venmo to be paid. Sign up using a referral link, download the app, and enter your email and phone number. There's a short questionnaire that you can skip, and you can also skip when asked if you want to subscribe to their paid PRO plan.
You DO need to verify the phone number, and the phone number needs to match the phone number on your Venmo account so you can get paid. This app is currently in TESTING status since I haven't yet seen proof of payment. I'm told it takes up to a week to receive the bonuses, but I have yet to confirm this. See my featured post here.
Based on apps like this in the past, I don't expect this to last long now that it's gone viral in Referral World. Assuming they do pay out, it's most likely one you'll need to jump on quickly.

In Case You Missed It!
A lot went on in Referral World last week. Things including:
Prizepool announcing that they've ended their referral program and are shutting completely down in September.
SDAI is asking for affiliates names and addresses (due today), claiming they'll be mailing out checks next week. There's a form on the Smart Desktop AI website dashboard that pops up as soon as you log in.
Webull extended their current promotion (again) through September 10th (it was originally supposed to end August 14th but has been extended 5-6 or more times.
Facebook is on the Attack!
As you may know, I've been moderating several Facebook referral groups for over four years. Facebook has never made it easy as they tend to correlate referral marketing with spams/scams (as does Reddit, Stimulus, and other social media platforms, perhaps because they aren't "getting their cut" regarding bonuses earned). The past few months have gone from bad to worse, though, with Facebook actively targeting active referrers. As part of this attack, they've forced a "Potential Spam" bucket, even in groups that don't require post-approval, that requires moderators to review and approve every post winding up in it manually. It would be fine if actual spam made it to this folder; instead, it traps legitimate posts from active members.
This has been a real headache for group admins and mods who do so voluntarily (not paid), and are now expected to monitor the groups 24/7. It's also frustrating for members contributing whose posts often sit pending in these "Potential Spam" buckets for a few hours and sometimes much longer. Even as I write this article, some of those potential spam buckets are filling up and folks have to wait for me to finish this RWN issue before their posts get approved.
This week has been even more of a nightmare. Facebook decided to go after a particular active referrer, disabled her account over legitimate posts she'd made over the past several months, and also issued violations to the groups she posted in. I personally paused three groups (so far) that I run to prevent the groups themselves from being shut down (as happened to my original "Easy Paying Referal Apps" group last month). Another prominent referral group admin had her account suspended by Facebook for similar reasons (thankfully, she successfully appealed the suspension, and her account was restored), and even more groups were shut down this week without warning.
I've told fellow referrers in the past that I feel it's just a matter of time before all our FB accounts are shut down, and I believe that's the case now more than ever. I truly wish there were a union referrers could form to combat social media bullies like Facebook and have options for recourse when they attack us like this.
Until that happens, there are options! Oooh is growing in popularity, and there are already some great referral groups (email me if you'd like a list of the groups). There's also Stimulus, Reddit, Discord, MeWe, Youtube, InvitationCodes, and MeWe. Some of those options also tend to look down on referrers, but in my experience, it's been less so than Facebook.
