Brandclub Lowers Bonuses to $3... Is Something BIG Coming?

For the third time in just a few weeks, Brandclub has lowered its signup and referral bonuses—this time from $4 to $3. If this were any other app, I'd be really disappointed. And I do recommend holding off signing up right now due to the low amount; but this one's giving me goosebumps, I have to say. Just over a year ago, we saw similar activity from Brandclub, where their bonuses dropped to $2 - I believe—then skyrocketed to $20 bonuses! Hopefully, history repeats itself. Stay tuned!

Amazon's New $5 Minimum for Gift Cards, Reloading Balance!
Sad news for all of us who have used Amazon's $1 balance reload method for triggering bonuses: On 5/30, Amazon raised the minimum from $1 to $5 when purchasing gift cards or reloading gift card balances.
I discovered this today because PrizePool started doing "debit card clawbacks," where if you don't make any purchases within X amount of time, they take back some of the raffle tickets they previously awarded you. Last week, I prevented a clawback last week by making a $1 balance reload; today, I came across the $5 minimum requirement.
While sharing this information with my close circle of fellow referral marketers and RWN supporters, Becca Carlson found this article posted on Reddit.
If you're including "reload your Amazon balance" as a selling point in your marketing, you may need to make adjustments.

Brandclub Lowers Bonuses from $7 to $4!

Just over a month ago, Brandclub lowered its signup and referral bonuses from $8 to $7. Sadly, they've done it again this month, now offering lowered $4 bonuses. I highly recommend Brandclub if you haven't signed up yet - see my featured post here - but I also think you should wait until they start raising the bonuses again. A couple of years back, Brandclub lowered bonuses all the way down to $2 or $3 before skyrocketing them up to $20! Let's hope history repeats itself!

Cogni Cogged Out!
Sad news this morning: Cogni appears to have paused or ended their instant $5 signup and referral bonus program. Referrers discovered earlier this morning that they weren't getting bonuses and the referral link was missing from their app. I confirmed that my link disappeared as well. Hopefully this is only temporary. I will update once new information comes to light.
Hopefully you were able to score some great Cogni bonuses over the weekend (I earned $440, myself)!
Stimulus $10 Referral Bonuses are Back (for Some)!
Stimulus started another round of $10 referral bonuses. As usual, the links are given out randomly; as far as I can tell, there's no guaranteed way of receiving a referral once you sign up. Referrers have recommended ways to improve your chances, including uploading a profile pic and cover photo, verifying email and phone, and being continually active on the site. RWN supporter Steven Lugo suggested liking 20 posts a day. Additionally, getting a link and keeping a link are two different things. Several referrers have found their links disappearing. For some, they reappeared after they performed more activities in Stimulus. I still haven't received a link after signing up last month and doing everything, so YMMV.
That said, I am enjoying Stimulus so far and have been using it to promote RWN and refer, as well as engage with other members through likes, follows, etc.

Cogni's my First June Whale (and Should be Yours, Too)!

Banking app Cogni went viral on Friday in Referral World, and for good reason... its instant $5 signup bonus is quick and painless, requiring SSN and US ID, but no deposit (technically, the app says a $5 deposit is required; but people have been getting the signup bonus without depositing anything). I signed up Friday afternoon, and as I write this article, I've already banked $365 $420 (and counting) in less than 48 hours! This was despite my originally linking to the wrong Cogni version (there are two Cogni apps in the app stores).
Cogni also gives you a virtual card to connect to Cash App, Apple/Google Pay, etc.
It will likely be 1-2 weeks before I publish my June Whales post, but at this rate, Cogni will likely be at the top of that list! In the meantime, you can see May's biggest earners here, where I earned nearly $5K from just seven apps.
Fetch's Increased $3 Bonuses (Ends 6/5)!

The receipt-scanning/cashback app, Fetch, offers a $1 signup and increased $3 referral bonus promotion, which ends Wednesday (6/5).
Fetch is a great way to score gift cards and other cashback rewards by scanning your shopping receipts and connecting your Amazon, Walmart, and email accounts to the app. For more information about Fetch, see my featured post here. How to Trigger Grifin's Bonus Under the New Terms!

If you signed up for Grifin this past month, you may have noticed that Grifin changed the terms to trigger the signup bonus. Previous to last week, you were able to sign up and either deposit or invest $5 manually to trigger the signup bonus. This changed when Grifin ran its 3-day mini promotion last week, where the only way to trigger the bonus was to make a purchase(s) from your connected bank and have $5 auto-invested into your Grifin account.
This should be easy to accomplish, and I believe it's a better setup than they had previously because people were running into issues of having to have $22.50 in their avaiable bank balance before they could make a $5 deposit. What you are able to do now with this new auto-invest requirement is go into your settings and set the auto-invest amount to $5. Then, using your connected bank/debit card, buy a $1 gift card on Amazon, or buy a coffee at Starbucks (just two examples). This purchase should trigger the auto $5 invest which will, in turn, trigger your signup bonus. Note that in your settings, you'll want to make sure you set limits on the auto-invest (for instance, $5 max per week). And once you've triggered your signup bonus, you have the option to turn off the auto-investing entirely.
Grifin also gives a 30-day grace period to trigger the bonuses so you still have time if you signed up this past month!
