Sometimes, so many signup bonuses come at you that it can be hard to keep track. And Brandclub is definitely one worth focusing on. They increased their usual $12 bonuses to $15 a few weeks back! $15 signup bonus and unlimited $15 referral bonuses. All you need to do is sign up, provide basic info (email, name, phone), and connect one or more active retail accounts to Brandclub. Testmarket's Motivations Revealed?

If you've seen any of my previous articles about Testmarket, you may know how they popped up in Referral World a month ago and appeared to be dealing in shady practices from the get-go. Things like:

  • Requiring an ID scan at signup

  • Paying for reviews under the guise of "signup bonuses" - a practice the FTC is making efforts to ban - and threatening to disable accounts leave anything less than 5-star, stellar reviews.

  • Offering seemingly impressive referral bonuses, such as $10 or even $150 when you refer 25, BUT simultaneously and repeatedly raising their minimum withdrawal requirement (currently $400 needed to cash out, aka 20000 coins).

  • A site that appears to offer/sell products, but all the products/discounts are sold out.

For these reasons and more, I personally don't trust Testmarket, but I have been unsure what their motivations might be... Stealing identities? Illegal data harvesting? Something else?

After receiving yet another "special referral promotion" email from them today, I revisited their site. Lo and behold, they now have Google Ads (and perhaps others) on their site. Sites qualify for Google AdSense, Amazon Ads, and similar when they show that their site has a lot of web traffic and activity.

In other words, while Testmarket is seemingly "bait and switching" in terms of offering signup and referral bonuses but making it impossible to earn enough to cash out, they are earning ad revenue at the same time.

Important note: Ensure you complete all the steps when you sign up. I can't tell you how many people have signed up but haven't invested the $5 to trigger the signup and referral bonuses. I'm not sure why because it's a straightforward, simple process.
