So, essentially, the U.S. and Israel are working overtime to protect the ongoing genocide in Gaza because of the Hezbollah rockets being launched into northern Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu introduced a wave of new ceasefire demands in July—just as negotiators were close to finally reaching an agreement that would end the fighting in Gaza and return the remaining Hamas hostages.

Opinion: It is worth noting that Netanyahu has no intention of ending the war and he’s content with having Israeli troops continue to fight like his political career depends on it…because it does.
Aluf Benn, the editor-in-chief of the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, wrote last week that Netanyahu is a politician with three main objectives ever since being elected: stay in power as long as possible; replace the Israeli elite; and crush the Palestinian national movement.
“He [Netanyahu] will always return to the unholy Trinity: the prime ministership, incitement against the ‘left,’ and externalizing the occupation of the territories,” he wrote.
Benn said Netanyahu wants Donald Trump to win in 2024, so he will likely refuse any kind of ceasefire before the November election so he can deprive Vice President Kamala Harris “a win in the form of a ceasefire.”
