March 1st
• A beautiful windy day.
• Venus and Jupiter! 😍 A magical conjunction!
• Spectating a successful launch to the ISS!
• Great OW2 games and getting a headstart on my weeklies before we go to Vegas.
• Finding neongreen777 on Twitch! I typed in chat:" entschuldige, du hast eine wunderschöne Stimme, haha, perfekt für streaming" xD Rick and I became Pokémons!
March 6th
• Awesome Kwaay Paay hike with Rick and Jon. I ran some of the way and my time was 35 minutes up, 27 minutes down! Beautiful hike.
• Feeling all fuzzy after enjoying Tandoor for lunch.
• Shower and laundry and feeling even more cozy in my robe. I passed out while Rick played Into the Breach.
• Packing!
March 7th
• Coffee and watching the dev interview for the OW2 and OPM crossover.
• A safe night drive together. We stopped in the desert and I took some sweet photos of the beautiful moon and sky!
• Safely getting all the way to Randy and Nikky's. We caught up with Randy until 3am. Shadow is so cute!!!
March 8th
• I woke up with a Willow on my bed! So cute!!!
• Sleepy morning hugs. ♥
• A beautiful breakfast at Graze. I got pancakes and hash and Rick got biscuits and gravy and hash. Good tunes too! The Killers, Phoenix, The Temper Trap, Cage the Elephant.
• First day at the con! So cool seeing The Dice Tower crew walking around! The first timers panel was so wholesome. Poor Tom lost his voice somehow. It was nice looking around and getting acquainted with everyone! Rick and I finally played Parks and it's a great game! Brew was pretty cool too.
• Leftovers from Graze and a yummy oat milk americano and dozing off in the car. I so needed to rest.
• Hella good sushi from Kenny's! Rick had some dim sum for the first time!
• Learning how to play Earth!
• Super fun opening game night with The Dice Tower crew!
• Willow and Shadow are adorable! 😭 Willow was hunting my phone strap and Shadow climbed on my back while I was working on my phone. xD
March 9th
• Short con day, checked out the exhibitors, and played a few games. Picture Perfect was awesome!
• Penn & Teller!!! They were wonderful and I'm so happy we finally got to see them!
• Cute little Willow in the box. xD
March 10th
• Amazing meeting The Dice Tower crew and chatting and taking photos with them!!! (Images on Rick's phone!)
• Nevermind the Distraction is such an amazing concept of a game. (I backed this game on Kickstarter and can't wait for it to come out!)
• Chef Kenny's for dinner again!
• Hanging with Matt, Randy, Nikki, and Rick until late. We played Wits & Wagers and 6 Nimmt! and it was awesome!
March 11th
• Wonderful brunch with everyone at Graze. That omelet was insane and we felt so fancy enjoying that fruit and cheese board. It was so nice of Randy and Nikki to cover us!
• A beautiful cloudy day in Vegas.
• Playing Klask, Junkart, and Spirit Island at base!
• Shadow and Willow cuddled together. So cute!
• Watching the Top 5 live!
• Playing Honey Buzz and the first module of Welcome to the Moon!
March 12th
• Waking early, getting coffee, and enjoying the con!
• Buying Escape From The Asylum, Cat in the Box, and Picture Perfect!
• Finally playing First Contact. Sick game! I love it since I love learning languages!
• A wonderful con. I had so much fun and I'd love to return next year!
• Eating at Soy Mexican and enjoying the lovely atmosphere! So much culture, so many friendly faces, and there was an excellent performer who I just had to tip. Our server and the performer were so nice!
• We explored some bits of wild Vegas too and were both so relieved to be back in our car together.
• Catching up on our weeklies on Randy's computer.
• Rick got us pizza! ♥
• Playing Picture Perfect, Cat in a Box, The Crew, and hanging out past midnight together. ♥
March 13th
• Tea, coffee, pancakes, omelets, hash browns, chocolate cake, strawberry cake, chocolate tart, mango tapioca, cherry panna cotta, chocolate cherry chip ice cream, and guava, blackberry mint orange, mango lime juices!
• Hanging out with these little aliens. :D
• Tons of games with the friends! We played Cat in the Box, The Crew, Picture Perfect, Sagrada, and The Search for Planet X!
March 14th
• Enjoying the beautiful sights of Barstow Road, the mountains and cloudy sky, Bear Valley, and the general beauty of the desert.
• So grateful to Rick for driving.
• Finding a cute little vegan Thai restaurant in rainy Rancho Cucamonga.
• Arriving home safely! The babies! ♥ So good so shower and be back home.
• The beautiful rain.
• Enjoying some oats, hanging with the babies, and watching the season finale of The Last of Us.
March 19th
• Checking in on Shane. He's so sweet. I'm proud of myself for being as honest and as kind as I know how to be.
• Getting updates on the kitties all day. :D
• Just watched The King. Crazy.
• Happy to make it through today.
March 22nd
• Coffee, Irish soda bread, and kisses.
• Finally getting a Kallax! So fun going to IKEA, working together to assemble the shelving, putting the games up, and feeling great about our teamwork! ♥ Luna helped. :D And now Midna has a new watchtower. :D
• Burpees! My last 10 reps included slow full push-ups and goddess jump squats!
• A relaxing hot shower and prepping for tomorrow.
March 23rd
• Good sleep.
• Earlier Frosthaven session! Scenario 2 was a breeze. Little Luna kept me company.
• Late-night OW2 together. I was killing it with Soldier and I got to plat 2 in damage!
March 28th
• Good sleep
• Happy cleaning day.
• Both of the kitties cuddling with me!
• Amazing face massage!
• Amazing yoga while the sweet potatoes cooked.
• Amazing sweet potatoes with our couscous bowl!
• Grocery run and getting snacks for tomorrow.
• More OW2 games.
• Super relaxing shower.
