Hey folks.
While I haven't been posting much on here lately at all. I have been as busy as I can be. Now I know that my streaming days are pretty much over, the reason for this is the lack of time that I have at my disposal and lacking enjoyment of streaming. My biggest frustration with streaming is the lack of growth and no sense of progression. So instead my efforts have been more focused on YouTube which is still growing and going well.
YouTube is a bit of a beast, while my subscriber count has steadily climbed to over 400 subs it is still something I do without seeing any monetary return for the time that I am investing into it, but I'm generally OK with that. Have set myself the goal of 600 Subscribers by the end of the year, which is still slow growth for a channel that has over 200 videos but Warhammer is a niche subject so it is to be expected.
With the limited time I have I generally also have only limited funds which is why my content isn't always fantastic looking. The vast majority of videos I create (Mortal Realms, White Dwarf and Painting) are filmed using my old mobile, a Huawei P20 Pro (which has a fantastic camera) which is why the video footage loses its focus and sometimes looks shaky!
So as you may guess I am not earning a penny from YouTube for quite sometime as I require just under 1500 public hours of watch time and around 600 new subscribers. This is where the merch I have and this site will come into play. I will never beg for anybody to help me or give me money or even buy any of the merch items I have for sale, but what I will say is that I 100% appreciate any support I receive, weather that is a like or a comment on a video or a merch store purchase! Every penny I make from here and from merch will be used to help out the channel, the idea is to hopefully upgrade my equipment starting with a camera set up that is better than a phone! This might take a while but that is the aim.
I do also intend to take a week off from everything in October as I have produced content for pretty much weekly since 21st January 2020. The main reason for this break is to take a long over due holiday (so long as the pandemic doesn't screw things up) and have some quality time to recharge the old batteries, and also celebrate my 36th birthday.
In the meantime though there will be some additional updates to the channel that I am working on including a new logo, an intro and some new merch and some new series of videos.
Thank you for your time and on going support of a small YouTuber and very occasional streamer from Birmingham, UK.
Jimmy
