This summer has been an absolute blur, in (mostly) the best possible way!
Since my last post, I've been to:
Paris
Northern Michigan (here's the Mackinac Bridge, from our awesome AirBnB in St. Ignace)
Boston (for a Coldplay concert - yes, I was at THAT concert - full sympathy to the families of the cheaters. Jeez, I can't even imagine...)
...and Washington DC for a gig with the Bi-Coastal Brass.
On a sad note, my bird Gus passed away this summer after 28 years (!) of cheery singing, heart wings, air kisses, tiny fog spots on the mirror while singing to the "other" cute birdie, vigorous head bobbing, "Let's Go Red Wings" chants, and toward the end, general grumpiness that was endearing in its own way. (No judgement, by the way... little guy was the equivalent of 112 years old! He earned the right to be a grouch!)
