My creative practice has always served to manage my emotional self, process challenges and sometimes to give me a voice, and be seen. I was hidden for so many years, masking, an act, and finally (late) diagnosed autistic.

Communication can be an issue where intention and response becomes tangled. Isolation, depression, anxiety float to the surface. No wonder that one of the leading causes of death for autistic individuals is suicide. Art heals.

With creativity/art, media is unlimited. Using photography /textiles/ poetry/ paint/ or installations… It depends on the message. Therefore, I call myself a visual artist.
