Hello! I am humbled to write this. Just under ten years ago, my life's path was changed from one of newly married, classical musician and expected success, while managing a deli over 50 hours a week to the current one I traverse where I am disabled; fighting an autoimmune disease, osteoarthritis, spinal injuries that include surgeries to replace discs with cadaver bones. I even have had a spinal cord stimulator implanted for four years. Next year I hope to have both hips replaced. It seems silly, but coffee is the brightest part of my morning. I push forward every day in hopes others can see paths change but we can still navigate the different hurdles. This app is foreign to me, but I like that it combines two of my favorite things- the color yellow and coffee. It would be even more fun if glitter was involved. By helping me out, I can slowly climb out of the giant hole that I feel I've fallen into. I want to drive again one day, but it's so very scary. If I can get over my fear and even procure a vehicle where I feel safe, the possibilities are endless to gain control over my mental health. With this confidence and safety I can join orchestras again, I can go back to school.
