JHP Fiction is a no-budget, one-person audio drama studio — but the shows aren't small. Queen of Battle was the first, built from nothing and proof this could work. Happy Medium is the current flagship: a murder mystery narrated by an autistic spirit medium who talks to ghosts and can't stay out of the investigation.

Both shows are free, and staying free. But free isn't cheap — every episode takes real hours of writing, recording, editing, and sourcing music that won't get anyone sued. Support goes straight into making the next episode better: cleaner sound, more polish and, with your help, paid voice actors.

Supporting these shows means keeping weird, independent stories alive without answering to a network or an algorithm. It means Helen Polly gets to keep solving murders instead of the show quietly dying because the well ran dry.

These ghosts don't haunt for free. But thanks to listeners like you, the shows still can.
