Hello And welcome to 2024!
All the Holidays are over. Christmas was calm with my family. But my New Years eve was a disaster. One of very few.
So what have I been up to this past month?
Well I took a little break from writing newsletter and also to work on new videos. And during this time I only focused on art courses.
I did buy one year sub at ArtWod so been checking their courses. And I’m liking it a lot! Almost done with my Portraits course that I’m currently doing. I also started to watch ”How to Draw Bears” by Aaron Blaise. He always start with the head and also offer images of the skull to draw on top off. So been doing that too.
And to be honest with you, I don’t don’t understand why I have not followed a long in these video before… ITs so much fun and learn a lot !
It’s been nice to just focus a little more on my drawings over making videos etc. It also gives me new ideas to write about and to make videos.
Other than that no more cool stuff have happen. My life is pretty boring to be honest. I just sit at home, walk my dog now and then. Draw when I fee like it and then being stuff in an endless loop of YouTube videos and so on.
Oh yea one video on YouTube kind of unlocked a new door for me. Would Building. I have created plenty of Original Characters in 2023. And I have been thinking of telling stories about it. And this Youtube video kind of gave me that idea that I can do just that but on Patreon and Buy me a Coffee. To have a little higher tier for people who is interesting in these stuff.
And of course give you little behind the scene of the making of it all.
We will see how that goes.
Overall a very low energy month because of the Holidays. Because Christmas is very important for me, so didn’t wanna get sick.
And speaking of sickness, my parents got Covid early December. One of few times I’m happy to live alone 😁
They are both fine today, working and all.
Oh I almost forgot, Rebelle 7 released on Dec 14th! And I'm in love with this software. Not sure why I waited this long before trying it out. Bought the Pro version when it was around 80%. And a review will come over at The Howling Newsletter this Sunday.
