We’re back in Bangkok after a handful of days in “ KL “!
It’s an impressive city for many reasons: the infrastructure as a whole, the food, public transport, sites and activities, most of all…the people. KL treated us well.
Malaysia is a country that most Westerners can visit free of charge for up to 90 days. That blew my mind after having to leaving Thailand much more frequently and paying to do so. The process was very quick and easy. I’d love to go back spend a month or more in Malaysia!
Its known for its heavy trifold culture with the 3 largest ethnicities being Malay, Indian, and Chinese. That lends itself to some of the most tasty local food I’ve ever had. Well above that there’s such harmony in this wonderful melting pot. People are extremely kind and patient. Full of smiles.
It was my 1st Muslim country (predominately) and there was no concern or fear in sight. The people are warm and friendly.
