Hi, I’m Jeff.

Based in rural Paraná, Brazil, this project is an integrated ecosystem of education and environmental restoration. Recently recognized as a Top 9 "Smart Tourism" Experience by SEBRAE and the City of Morretes, the mission is to prove that social development and rainforest conservation can thrive together.

Membership drives three critical pillars:

The Sanctuary: Supporting Brisa da Mata Ecolodge, a certified sustainable destination. Every "sapling" funded here directly contributes to the reforestation of this critical biodiversity hotspot.

The Classroom: Your support ensures that 10% of local students at SPELL Morretes can access high-level English education for free, bridging the gap to global opportunities.

For this project, language and land are connected—both are about building a sustainable future through better understanding.

The Stories: Members have access to my latest books such as Café, Courage, and Chaos! —an unfiltered account of Brazil’s involvement in the Great Wars, from the Amazon Rubber Soldiers to the Italian front.

For me, teaching a language and protecting the rainforest are two sides of the same coin—both are about building a sustainable future through better understanding.
