Writing is something I’m very passionate about. ‘Buying me a coffee’ helps me in two ways. 1) any funds I receive helps me further my writing journey. 2) it helps to know I’m valued as a writer. It’s not that I need applause, but it’s encouraging and reminds me that one of the reasons I write is to touch the reader in a way that encourages them to think, laugh, start a conversation or write about what’s on their mind.
