Greetings Everyone!
Well...there's no one here yet, but hopefully soon. If are familiar with my work from Instagram, you know me as reelsonwheels. Back in 2020 I helped to co-organize the inaugural Black Birders Week in response to the discrimination Christian Cooper experienced while birding in Central Park NY. We knew there were more than just him out in the world facing these challenges, so we decided to make ourselves known with this social media campaign. I never imagined it would have been so well received! Shortly after, I was so very fortunate enough to be asked onto the podcast Ologies, which was an absolute delight.
Here, I aim to bring you all a more personalized, and vulnerable look into the work I do as a Black, disabled professional wildlife photographer. I want to share as much information with you as I can and show you all a bit of the natural world through my own unique point of view. I am glad to have you, and thank you sincerely for your support.
