Heirs of the Promise,Second Edition — Complete Ebook
Heirs of the Promise is the fully expanded second edition of God Keeps His Promises, the covenant theology primer that has been equipping Christians to answer the questions that most evangelical publishers are too nervous to touch. If the first edition built the house, this edition furnishes it, reinforces it, and hands you the keys.
This is a full-length theological study on the identity of the people of God, the heirs of the Abrahamic promise, and what the whole Bible is actually doing from Genesis 12 to Revelation. It is written for Christians who are tired of Dispensational assumptions dressed up as exegesis, tired of geopolitics masquerading as eschatology, and ready for a biblical account of covenant, promise, and fulfillment that does not require you to ignore what Paul wrote in Galatians 3.
The second edition adds a complete seventh chapter built around Genesis 12 and its New Testament treatment in Galatians 3, which is to say, the precise passage on which the entire Covenant Theology versus Dispensationalism debate turns. It is forty pages of careful, verse-by-verse argument that does not flinch. Beyond the new chapter, the back of the book has been significantly expanded with tools the first edition was missing. A glossary of key theological terms used throughout. A fifteen-point Q&A answering the most common Dispensationalist objections with the biblical text rather than tradition and sentiment. And a guide to reading your Bible, with particular attention to prophecy, written for readers who want to understand the interpretive principles behind how Covenant theologians handle Scripture and why those principles are not a departure from the plain meaning of the text but a recovery of it.
Seven chapters. A glossary. A hermeneutics guide. Fifteen answered objections. One ebook.
Each chapter includes a devotional section, a Bible study guide, and small group discussion questions, making this suitable for individual study, family discipleship, or a serious small group that wants to go somewhere most small groups will not.
If you want to understand why the promises of God have never depended on ethnicity, geopolitics, or the current condition of a Middle Eastern nation-state, this book was written for you. If you want to know who the heirs of Abraham actually are, what the New Testament says about it, and how to defend that answer when someone points at a Scofield footnote and calls it a rebuttal, this book was written for you.
