It’s not going to make sense until you have the fundamental premise down. The "problem" is that the premise is SO SIMPLE we automatically reject it.
The fundamental premise is that imagination is our true reality.
To make an example about it would be like saying there are two hills facing an oasis below, one behind the other.
If you’re standing on the hill in front you can see the beautiful landscape of the water and everything else flourishing on the ground. If you’re standing on the hill behind the first hill, you can barely grasp how it looks because you don’t have the correct vantage point. Now if we’re screaming to you from the first hill how beautiful it is, you won’t get it, would you? Maybe you’ll get a peek or two of the oasis if you move around or stand on your toes but it’s not gonna be the same, right? You have to come down off the second hill and make your way to the first.
A lot of us, when we write these types of posts, are writing them from the vantage point of being on the first hill. But that’s because we’ve experienced LIVING the fundamental premise for ourselves and so our perspective is different. When I used to read posts I’d sometimes even get MAD because I’m like “WTH are y’all talking about it’s easy? This is the hardest $#%+ in the world!” But then... I got it.
So many people read posts and watch videos from the vantage point of the second hill and they get frustrated or overwhelmed.
You might have to somewhat wrestle yourself out of the belief that the physical world is what’s running the show. It might take time and practice. I can only assume someone's state by their responses but if you’re not grasping that fundamental premise yet, that’s fine, however, that’s also why you’re not "getting" it and it's not clicking. When you do actually get it 1) you’ll probably laugh at how complicated you made it all this time and 2) you’ll reread certain posts with brand new eyes- well at least that’s what I did.
My advice is to practice imagining things simply because it feels good. Don’t think you have to imagine this to get this, or you have to do this, this and this, in order for this thing to happen. No. Experience things in your head and in your head only & get comfortable doing things in imagination alone. Then go on about your day as regular, constantly reminding yourself that things already are what you want them to be in imagination. You’ll start to notice and become aware of how malleable the physical world is when you put your focus into imaginal acts only.
As for me, I don’t even try to “know” stuff, really. Even that word comes with a lot of excess feelings and can be a slippery slope. It’s just a gentle awareness, if anything.
I also allow myself to be uncertain.. (I have my moments though.) But overall, I just imagine. The law is the law whether I believe in it or not. So I allow myself my doubts. I allow myself to be disappointed and frustrated and impatient and triggered with things. And when I’m done being a human in that moment I go back to my imagination & I’m a god (Loki voice 🌳 lol) or at the very least I am limitless.
I don’t even try to have unwavering faith. I don’t try to do anything tbh lol. Why not? Because everything already IS in imagination. And because I’ve developed that core belief I guess maybe I inadvertently have faith & trust automatically.
I’m a human that has human experiences and I explore the 3D because I assume that’s what I’m supposed to do with this human body. However in imagination, everything is already mine. So nothing outside of my imagination matters. I can’t lose anything in imagination. It reappears when I say so. People do what I want them to do in imagination. Circumstances are what I want them to be in imagination. I get the feelings I wanna feel, unprovoked, in imagination. There’s nothing to earn or to feel worthy/unworthy of. It’s just there in my imagination waiting for me to experience it. So I do.
Imagine & go.
Sounds simple, because it is that simple. Practice allowing it to be that simple. You’ll see.
