"My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king." Psalm 45:1
Our purpose in life is hard to get a handle on
because it changes shape without warning.
We’ve learned from You
that we exist for such a time as this,
or You wouldn’t have called us into being when You did.
We believe we have a destiny.
Just when we think we see it clearly,
something happens to unsettle us,
and we're not sure where we fit.
It seems that Your purpose
is to nudge us into growing.
It seems that Your purpose
is to develop our potential.
We need to trust Your purpose
when we question our own.
We are always part of a bigger story
that only You know,
and it’s still not finished.
Amen?
