Hi! My name is Jamie Vaughn and I am a recent survivor and thriver of Stage 2 HER2+ Estrogen/Progesterone Negative breast cancer and as of December 13, 2022, I am cancer-free.
I launched my podcast, “Test Those Breasts!” on June 11, 2023, the first anniversary of my diagnosis as a healing mechanism, and to help shorten the learning curve for and inspire others who have been diagnosed, those yet to be diagnosed, and their caregivers.
A diagnosis like mine and so many others is incredibly overwhelming and downright terrifying, especially with all of the confusing information that is thrown at us. The more resources we have, such as my podcast, the better. I interview various physicians, such as breast surgeons, oncologists, nurses, radiologists, survivors, caregivers, and various types of therapists.
I am a retired teacher and I have been using my personal funds to pay for 3 different platforms for recording, editing, and releasing this podcast. Because hosting a podcast is incredibly time-consuming, I also retain help for editing and running my social media platforms.
So… I need help! It’s expensive! Your contributions will help me pay for these services and platforms to allow me to keep this podcast running. I know my work is incredibly valuable to so many people already. How do I know this? Because I have had many people reach out and tell me so. No matter what, I am not stopping. If you are getting value out of these episodes, will you consider “buying me a coffee”? 😉

Thanks for responding. What kind of questions should we ask the breast plastic surgeon?Did you have saline implants before and then switched for Deip Tiasue? Also, is it all done in one shot? I think it requires several visits to OR??Also, what’s the recovery time in both the situations— saline implants and the Deip Tisuue?Sorry.. I have too many questions😯
Not too many questions at all. There is no such thing. Let’s connect via email and I can share my knowledge on all of this. I will message you!Jamie
