I've tuned back to E standard and changed the string gauge back to the factory suggested 9/42.

...thanks for everyone's support here, I've reached the first small goal, and have ordered one vital (but a familiar piece of equipment) for the studio. So, thanks to everyone who contributed with their kind donations, this wouldn't have happened without you.
