In my 101 post I discussed American politics and how the temetic process has predictably produced "insanity" in segments of the population with cherished but irrational beliefs, and predictably an economic class of "liars" has successfully competed for their money via pandering various inanities that provide the dopamine* reward associated with group approval.
* if that's what it is, neurochemically: you are presumed to overlook some "generalized science" for the sake of "narrative", please.
Applied temetics is a rather high level concept, so to speak: it's about "using tools to make tools" in one sense (about as fundamental a definition of "human intelligence" as one can get), but also about bringing the proverbial gun to the knife fight.
It is intrinsically "unfair" in the economic sense, but also moral: most people do not enjoy being disabused of their illusions. "It's not nice" to refute someone's G_d, or racist laws, or to tell them those jeans make their a... you get the point.
In fact it's the nicest thing you can do to any sentience. A counterfactual belief can be very dangerous to its holder as well as others, and the term "nice" when applied to "persons" usually entails some form of "pain mitigation", i.e.: loaning money, giving someone a ride, or a well timed compliment, etcetera.
"Bringing a gun to a knife fight" stops the fight, while securing your survival, regardless of what others choose to do, whether their behavior is "rational". In competent hands the gun can non-lethally incapacitate one or many violent actors, and frequently it's mere display can cause reevaluation of biological survival in other humans: a very powerful, basic human fear of death. "Irrational" people tend to get rational real quick like when a gun comes out, and run the bleep away.
That is what temes are.
Guns exists because knives exist and both are technologies, one is superior (for certain applications).
Strictly temetic ideas and highly temetic minds are the nuclear weapons of human cognition. The gunniest guns that ever gunned, held by the expert marksman.
So, you know... try to be nice, to mitigate pain and not cause any, or as little as possible.
But with that said tools are meant to be used, so to speak. Not everything is a nail, but a rational carpenter owns a hammer, understands its utility, and hopefully has a ton of practice as well as related skills. Any professional mechanic (herein: uses tools to make/fix machines including houses and plumbing etc) is by trade a "highly temetic actor" in the historical sense, whether they knew it or held other irrationalities. More temetic are scientists dealing with abstractions (math is one example, but no pun in ten did), or with difficult to measure subjects as they create improved tools in the process.
That's temetics (baby!), and some observable and measurable examples of the temetic process in our memespaces. The velocity at which 1) a machine, 2) a human piloted machine, and 3) a human powered machine can travel, when plotted against time goes up. None have ever gotten slower, period. Further some memespaces are more temetic than others: NASA, universities, libraries of course and related "utility spaces" (herein: some physical space oriented toward "utility" such as a gym or even a movie theater). It follows that - for the sake of your physical survival in the most direct sense - "you should surround yourself with highly temetic people". And you should avoid places like war zones, prisons, and places where "crazy" people congregate.
I did NOT say "dangerous places" though: there are people living and doing science in the harshest (utile) environment of the vacuum of space, and Antarctica, volcanos... and if the science is useful we find a way to do it, or if not we do not. No sense trying to send a human to the Sun, for example.
Consider: we now know we can grow food in space, and on other planets.
Temes out-compete memes for human hosts, and have been successfully breeding us to be better teme hosts at the expense of mere meme hosts, for many millennia at an accelerating pace. "Temeticists" (read: multiple college degrees, for a metric, whether or not they self-identify) live longer, get paid better (a social utility metric), breed with other highly temetic people and have offspring that in turn will live longer and be better educated, etcetera.
Valuing temes over memes is provably the superior survival strategy, and thus the opposite evaluation is suicidal if denied victims to parasite upon.
And as per "American politics", there are humans on the losing end of that dynamic. In the math of it: predictable.
They are not "dumber" than yesterday, and "smart" people can believe untruths and tell lies, but they will always be comparatively dumber than proper temeticists in toto. And the range of "knowledge differentials" between these two opposites will get larger, though only the population of one is destined to get smaller.
This is to say: what people call "the republican party" is basically the nexus of their economic error: "paying people to lie" about basically everything that will transfer a dollar. They are - again: predictably - going to lie about economics, the environment, both the causes and effects of human migrations, how money works and whether they went to Epstein's Island, or are in the closet, or raped sorority girls in law school. Etcetera. Predictable.
And as per 102, the application of temetics on the memespace reveals vast antisocial and inhumane human behaviors that are being ostracized - as the process is inevitable - but could be remedied much, much more easily by bringing the idea of Truth into all aspects of our lives, as well as our politicians, judges, law, and criminal prosecutions. You've probably heard "all politicians lie" in one joke or another, but the science is that one little lie - that it's just who they are and we can overlook it, that we can "let a few memes in" to the controlling of our military and law enforcement - almost caused a dictatorship in America.
The same exact reason why drunk driving is illegal.
"Do not operate heavy machinery under the influence of" atemetic and anti-temetic people.
If you want the BEST reason to vote republicans out, this is it: they are the dumbest aspect of our national identity. The extra stupid behavior borne of all those little stupids we ignored because we were being "nice".
Find the hidden flaws in their assumptions, become a temeticist, build a better tool.
And I dislike causing pain but it is true and timely: the two places that most resemble "where crazy people congregate" are red state churches, and those same morons on January 6th 2021.
That anniversary is approaching, you saw the evidence with your own eyes in real time: equivocation, spin, alternative facts...
