I’ve been creating with clay since 2015. My work is deeply influenced by the natural world around me—especially the flora and fauna of our coastal ecosystems. With an environmental background, I see art as more than just a form of self-expression. To me, it’s a way to remind us of the beauty that exists in nature, and to help us reconnect with it.

Each piece I create celebrates the raw, unrefined qualities of clay, where asymmetry and irregularities are not flaws, but rather unique details that give character and life to the handmade work. I spend my time in my home studio, crafting one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces, functional home goods, and teaching students how to throw on the wheel and explore hand-building techniques.
