Have you ever been camping?
Camping is something I’ve always wanted to do, but have never done. I like being close to nature. It feels so real and primal. Everything artificial is stripped away until you’re just you.
Sometimes nature is like a dreamscape. That’s what I tried to capture in the above painting. A dreamscape of light and beauty, brimming with promise. It would be nice to live in a dream for a little while.
This is one of my latest nature-themed creative writing pieces:
Entreat me to cold glass seas and clouds filled with tears. Entreat me to the shiver of twilight. To unloved sand between my toes. To the muted music of shadows and starlit ghosts. I want a world that holds my hand. Entreat me.

I’d like to go camping one day and immerse myself in nature’s dreamscape.
For now, I’ll catch what little dreams I can and dream along.
