Well, Emma and Sarah, we did it! I'm so happy I found you when I did. I've been in the same field for 18 years and have recently been trying to make the switch to something different. After listening to your amazing advice on brainstorming all of my 'best bits' and practicing my storytelling skills, I walked into (or Zoomed into) the best interview I ever had! I couldn't believe how easy it was for me to weave the stories I had prepared into my answers to the hiring panel's questions. I was able to make the connections between how my experience and skills would really set me up for success in the new role. I was also able to share all of the things I felt important to highlight and I logged off that interview on a HIGH! The second interview went even better than the first and, I am happy to share that HR is currently putting together my offer as I type this note. They're offering me the job, and the hiring manager commented on my amazing interview! Honestly, I would not have been as prepared or relaxed as I was without you and your podcast. Thank you a million times over. You guys are THE BEST! Your fan, Julia from Ontario, Canada

Hello Emma and Sarah,
Late last year I was going through a rough patch as our entire division in a large corporate bank was closed down due to a change of strategy. I had thought that was a great job. But as we know, life is not always a straightforward path filled with roses, and everything good comes to an end - often for something better!
Bottom line, in my despair, I stumbled with your AMAZING podcast and advice! I could not be more grateful and fortunate. After two months of having found your podcast, I found success! No words can describe the emotions I felt walking out from one of the tallest buildings in Canary Wharf, London, in late February. I was given a verbal offer in the 3rd stage of the process, on the spot by the MD, after delivering a 10-minute presentation.
You are both blessed and the way you are helping the world is beyond greatness. I hope you enjoy the little token of appreciation that is very well deserved - keep the good content coming!
God bless you both and sending all the very positive energy from the universe and wishing you many more successes!
PS – I accepted the offer (after some intense comp negotiations!) and start my new job in April!

HI GIRLIIIIIES (huge feminine energy coming your way)
Where should I start ??? It’s gonna be a long one.
I’ve been in a professional transition since 1.5 year, fortunate enough to quit my job and then go back for a few months. I was stuck in a weird place where I was too senior for junior role, and too junior for senior role…
There is THIS job at THIS place that I’ve been talking about for 4 years now. It’s such a long time that I felt like a stalker sometime.
And guess what, YES, THIS exact opportunity opened on the market when I was the most ready (meaning : confident in myself and in my skills) to apply.
Applied early December, and I knew the process would only start in January so what did I do ? PREPARE. The thing I was most anxious about is that I’m French, and the position needed to be bilingual. And while I do speak english, I’ve never interviewed in English
During the Christmas break, I decided to look for a podcast in English, to train myself to listen and talk in english. Looked for « interview podcast english » on google and wtf do I find ? YOU. Yes. So, let me tell you, and I know you don’t know it (yet) but I feel like we’re family, cause I spent almost as much time with you than with my family during the holidays. HOURS of listening to your podcast (#1 is the tell me about yourself episodes, and #2… the best bits of course)
I practiced SO much, and having the best bits ready was a true blessing. They didn’t ask a question about something ? NO PROBLEM - I’m gonna tell them anyway.
Omg it worked WONDERS. I absolutely SMASHED the interviews, especially the one with senior director and VP. It took a 3 months and 2 new friends (aka you) that doesn’t even know me (told you… borderline stalker) but I GOT IT OMG!!!
Got the offer this week, for a better salary than I asked, amazing compensation. I’m so happy so I wanted to let you know.
Enjoy the coffees, I wouldn’t drink 5 at a time, it’s risky - but who am I to judge ???
PS : because I NEED to know : where does the « oh oh oh oh » of the jingle come from ? It kinda looks like … No Control - One Direction - is this it ???
Your new stalker sister,
Matilde

Dear Emma and Sarah, I am so glad to know that you are making good progress for the podcast "project". I had a 1-to-1 coach with Sarah a couple years back and it transformed me to a optimistic job seeker. Although I did not get the job that time, I felt much better equiped for the interview after listening to all of your podcasts and talked with Sarah. Why do we assume HR are scary people? I could not find one hint of that from Sarah (laugh), she is kind, understanding and effective. Today, a new post is out and I am going to apply. I will do my best, follow you tight and shot my shoot. Thank you so much for giving positive energy and useful information to this otherwise fearful procedure. I truely appreciate both of you, so I want to buy you a coffee on this special day.

Dear Sarah and Emma,
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the transformative impact your podcast has had on my job search journey.
After being unemployed for six months, I discovered your podcast a few months ago, and it has truly changed my life. I was losing faith in myself, but your insightful tools and strategies helped me regain my confidence. I started leaving interviews feeling that I had really “succeeded.”
In particular, your episode “Listen to this RIGHT before the interview” is the perfect mood booster right before any interview. I love your energy, helpful tips, and humor.
I’m thrilled to report that after six months of searching, I finally secured a job! Even though it’s a short-term contract, I’m excited to be back in the workforce. I will continue to listen to your fantastic podcast as I navigate this new chapter.
Thank you once again for the inspiration and guidance.
Warm greetings from Finland,
Katarina
