Some people are not meant to be, in your life for ever
Others you knew a lifetime, but you knew them never
Some are just passing through
Some you've known for ever, even when they're new
Your friends may come, your friends may go
Perhaps not all of them you'll need to know
But it does it really matter?
Some to chat and some to natter
Appreciate the ones, simply passing through
They touched your life, but they were not the glue
Accept that it, is just a fact
As they moved on, to their next act
The friends you really know, really know that you
Will always be there for them, as they will be for you
Each would do anything, if they possibly could
The rules unwritten, in that friendly, brotherhood
