Everyone should be included in political conversations not just so-called 'experts'. Anyone can have meaningful conversations about social justice whether you've memorized a Karl Marx book or have never heard of him.

We are all experts in thinking and talking about social justice because we all experience injustice in many ways. With In Small Words, you can begin to notice the ways you may be experiencing injustice without even realizing it. By talking and thinking with others about the injustices you experience, you will be able to (1) understand your situations better and (2) eventually work towards changing your life.

​We can change the world together. 

This is why we use small words instead of unnecessarily complicated words (for example, we say 'words' not 'terminology'). We cannot change the world together if we don't understand each other, or if we pretend to understand each other just to look smart. 

If we have to use a big word like ‘non-partisanship’, then we will immediately let you know that it means someone or something that doesn’t belong to a political party.

​Our goal is to be able to do this full time: create content and host discussions & events online and offline for people of all ages to be able to safely discuss resistance.
