Inside Darknet: Hello, thank you for your time. Could you please tell us who you are and what do you do?

LAPSUS$: We are an international collective of hackers, each specializing in very specific areas. Our group was founded in 2022. At that time, our organization was led by others, but after several arrests, the group was reformed by close associates. Our goal? Profit, recognition, and the thrill of intrusion. We act on our own behalf and not on behalf of any company or government. We are independent and distrustful of society. We have no particular political message. We sometimes target specific individuals when we believe we are defending a just cause. LAPSUS$ is an organization guided by only two principles: the value of data and justice. Your data and justice are our sole concerns. Whether it's selling it, publicly disclosing it, or directly attacking the infrastructure of a genocidal or corrupt state to avenge oppressed citizens, that's all that matters to us.

Inside Darknet: Is LAPSUS$ a one-man show, or would you consider yourself a group?

LAPSUS$: LAPSUS$ is a group.

Inside Darknet: LAPSUS$ has been part of the biggest hacks in the past years. How did you get into hacking?

LAPSUS$: Curiosity for most people.

Inside Darknet: How long have you been building these skills?

LAPSUS$: Like 6-8 years for us, and for how i cant tell, we are a group.

Inside Darknet: What motivates you to keep operating?

LAPSUS$: What motivates us is obviously money, but also our most basic rights on the Internet, which are being violated by Europe.

Inside Darknet: Can you share roughly how much money you made?

LAPSUS$: I cant tell this.

Inside Darknet: LAPSUS$ and SLSH had some happenings recently. Can you talk about this?

LAPSUS$: LAPSUS$ is not SLSH, these shit have no skill and just want fame.

Inside Darknet: Do you have any memorable moments or cool stories from LAPSUS$ operations that stand out and you can share with the public?

LAPSUS$: [No response provided]

Inside Darknet: How accurate is hacking portrayed in movies and media?

LAPSUS$: 0/20.

Inside Darknet: Looking back, what would you have done differently?

LAPSUS$: Maybe learn to take my time and dont forget to have a good OPSEC.

Inside Darknet: Intelbroker has been arrested a while ago. Now there is rumours that he will be working with the police. What is your opinion on this?

LAPSUS$: We think he work with feds yea.

Inside Darknet: More recently, Trihash and YuroSH got arrested. Anything the media got wrong?

LAPSUS$: We dont talk abt this.

Inside Darknet: Is Scattered LAPSUS$ Hunters still a thing now, or is it just LAPSUS$ again?

LAPSUS$: Same shit as SLSH.

Inside Darknet: Are you concerned about the legal consequences, police, arrests?

LAPSUS$: No.

Inside Darknet: Where do you see cybercrime heading? What is the future of LAPSUS$?

LAPSUS$: For us be bigger, i think and hope.

Inside Darknet: If you had one final message about cybersecurity and this ecosystem, what would it be?

LAPSUS$: Nothing is safe. Sorry for the short messages, we don't have too much time to talk abt this, something big is coming.
