Community Update - March 2022

As we transition into Spring, much of the world is beginning to see some nice weather. Major League Baseball is back, at least for two years. The stock market continues its rocky start to the year but has shown some hope with China reiterating its desire to work with the SEC to keep Chinese securities on international exchanges.

Steps to Consider in March 

1.) Tax Day in the US this year is April 18th.  If you are comfortable filing your own taxes with a little assistance this link can save you up to 20% when you file online with Turbo-tax. I continue to use turbo-Tax  when filing my personal taxes.

2.) If you have not maxed out your IRA contributions for 2021, you can do so up until the filing deadline. If you do not currently have a brokerage account, and would like to get started,  Etrade has served me well

3.) March often offers some of the year's best discounts on golf clubs and winter clothing while offering reasonable deals on vacuum cleaners.

4.) March is also national frozen food month, with many supermarkets offering discounts throughout the month.
