À propos Inf0matics
Hi, I'm Inf0matics 👋
I’m a freelance developer, maker, and moderator passionate about building tools that make hardware and software easier to use, more creative, and more accessible.
My work focuses on open-source software, ESP devices, WLED, and home automation. I enjoy creating tools that solve real problems in my own projects and sharing them with the community so others can benefit too.
One of my main projects is WLED Pixel Studio — a browser-based editor that lets you design pixel art and send it directly to your WLED matrix devices. It started as a personal tool and has grown into something used by makers and creators to design and control their LED matrices more easily.
You can try it here:
Future plans: Home Assistant integration
One of the next major goals is to bring WLED Pixel Studio directly into Home Assistant as a plugin.
This would allow you to:
• send images directly from Home Assistant to your WLED devices
• display text dynamically (notifications, status messages, automations)
• trigger visuals from automations
• potentially support animations and advanced display workflows
This would make WLED matrices a fully integrated part of your smart home.
Why support me?
All my core tools are free and open source, and I plan to keep them that way.
Your support helps me:
• continue improving WLED Pixel Studio
• develop the Home Assistant integration
• add new features like animations and improved workflows
• maintain compatibility with new devices and WLED updates
• fund hardware for testing and experimentation
• dedicate more time to open-source development
Every coffee directly helps move these features forward.
What your support means
Supporting is completely optional — the tools will always remain free for everyone.
But supporters help accelerate development, enable more advanced features, and make these projects sustainable long-term.
Even a single coffee makes a real difference ☕
About me
I love working at the intersection of hardware and software — building ESP projects, exploring automation, and turning ideas into practical tools.
My goal is to create useful, reliable tools for the maker and home automation community and contribute to open ecosystems that empower people to build their own solutions.
Thanks for being part of the journey ❤️
