Being Human

We are all born with animal instincts. But to be human is to have sensitivity and compassion. Thats what makes the difference. Ego makes us insensitive and violent. We are human when we are able to see other peoples' needs along with our own.

You came naked.
You will also leave naked.
You arrived weak.
So weak you will depart.
You came without money and things.
You will leave without money and things.
Your first bath? Someone washed you away.
Your last bath? Someone will wash you away.

This is our fate as humans!

So why so much pride, so much malice, so much envy, so much hate, so much resentment, so much selfishness?
